    The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service through market leading levels of availability whilst working within targeted stock levels. This is a highly visible role within the business and a customer led approach is essential with the tenacity to deliver results in some of the most difficult circumstances as a point of escalation balancing customer need and cost. Demand Planning Manager will lead team of 7 including a team leader who can support with reporting and team leadership. Key to the role is clear, proactive communication to the business to ensue the flow of information is concise and responsive as well as a rigorous, robust measurement of clear reporting to Board level.

    What You'll Do 

    • ​Maintaining product availability above target
    • Maintaining days inventory cover to stocking policies
    • Managing and communicating current and future stock values
    • Supplier inbound performance
    • Reducing the volume of aged stock disposal
    • Operational efficiency projects

    About you

     

    • Strong End to end understanding of SCM
    • Leadership experience with a similar sized team
    • Experience in a FMCG environment
    • Can demonstrate effective problem solving
    • Educated to degree level
    • Results oriented
    • Strong leader and coach
    • Proactive and innovative
