Purpose of the role
Working as part of the PLB sales team, this role is pivotal to servicing our sales team, supplier and customers needs. We provide service and support to our customers and our business by working collaboratively with Operations, Finance, wine buying and other key stakeholders, both internal and external.
What you will do
Manage the Product launch and exit processes. Project manage the vintage change and critical path management whilst liaising with all stakeholders. Analyse promotional activity. Complete new line forms and price checking. Co-ordinate new product pitches. Assist with presentations for suppliers, ranges etc. Support with customer trip presentations and preparation. Assist with preparation for supply chain meetings and tracker document updating.
You'll be passionate about wine, degree educated with experience in customer service, have strong communication skills, be well organised and with good time management. You will have good numeracy skills and attention to detail. You will have a working knowledge of Excel, powerpoint and word. A wine background and experience working in the off trade is desirable but not essential.
