  • We’re looking for a commercially focussed People Business Partner to help support and develop the performance our Sales, Buying and Marketing functions. This role will work closely with our management teams to shape, scope and deliver a commercially focused people plan.

    What you’ll do

    Based out of our Bristol office and travelling to other locations, you’ll be supporting our Matthew Clark, as well as Peppermint & Elastic businesses, working with senior managers to scope and deliver a commercially focused people plan. That means you need to be ready to deal with all kinds of people and provide effective HR guidance. To succeed, you’ll need to build a firm understanding of the operation and goals of the business areas working closely with our senior management teams. By combining this insight with your own expertise, and working closely with the wider people team, including our HR shared service centre, you’ll tackle an exciting range of challenges including development and implementation of the people plan.  You'll identify solutions and resolve issues, advising on performance, talent management, reward and succession planning as well a wide range of employee matters in line with legislation and internal processes. With your help, we’ll create a high performing business.

    About you

    You'll have extensive experience as a HR / People Business Partner and evidence of continued personal development will be a given; what’s really important to us is your ability to mix commercial insight with HR professionalism to deliver successful people plans.  We’re looking for you to have extensive experience in supporting with learning and development, talent management and employee engagement among other areas.

    We’re relying on you to have an excellent grasp of all HR specialisms, legislation, complexities and potential issues. You’ll need exceptional coaching and influencing skills that you can adapt to suit different stakeholders as well as to be organised in your approach.  Above all, you'll be pasionate about our busienss and determined to make a positive difference with long lasting impact.
